Our St Peter’s ministries are taking a short break to rest and prepare for the exciting new term ahead.

But Dad & Kids is still on!

We’re meeting on:

9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th August

(No meetings on 26th July & 2nd August)

During a week of the Summer holidays the Church, Parish Centre and church grounds are transformed into the venue for our Holiday Club.

Each year we welcome 250 children on to site to explore the message of God's love with drama, singing, storytelling, craft and sports. There are a committed team of 80 adult leaders and 50 young leaders who make it all happen. We would love to see you there.

Holiday club is one of the highlights of our year. We love to see our church and grounds transformed as we invite children and young people to have fun and learn more about Jesus.

MONDAYS

LIGHTHOUSE CLUB

(School years 3-6)

  • Mondays term time 5.30-7pm

  • Alternate weeks for Year 3&4 and 5&6

  • £1.50 per week PAYG

  • A different theme each week

TUESDAYS

The HUB is an after school play café aimed at infant school aged children and their families. A chance to relax while the children play. Tuesdays 3.30-5.15pm. Come and go as you please. FREE to attend including bottomless tea/coffee. Pay for cakes if you want them.

SATURDAYS

DADS AND KIDS

Running weekly on Saturday mornings (9.30-11am) in the parish centre hall, primarily for male carers and their pre-school youngsters (and their siblings up to top ‘infants’). 

Toys, crafts, table-tennis, table football and 'air hockey'. Hot drinks, cookies, and bacon rolls (for adults). £3 per family.

SUNDAYS

Sundays

All children meet together in the Parish Centre just before the 9.15am service starts. We play together, sing together and hear a bible story as one big group, then we split up into smaller groups to learn more about what the story means for us.

SUNDAY GROUPS

  • Glow Worms – 3months – 2.5years

    We love to play with the older sparklers and enjoy singing songs about Jesus. Sometimes we like colouring and stickers too!

  • Sparklers – 2.5year to school age

    We learn about the bible story through play and singing and a very simple craft. We love playing together and like to pray for each other too!

  • Fireflies – School years R,1,2

    We learn more about God through stories and craft and games. We love drawing and cutting!

  • Ignite - School years 3-6

    We love to learn about God and what that means for our lives in school and beyond. We love to chat and play silly games!  

We believe that every child is uniquely created and loved by God. We want children to feel loved by our church so they might understand something of the love God has for them as individuals.
