Our Time to Remember and Remembrance Sunday service last week was a meaningful time to reflect and give thanks. We continue to pray for all who grieve and for those who have lost loved ones.

Christmas is just around the corner, and St Peter’s Christmas card is out now! We pray that this Christmas more people will hear the good news and discover hope and joy. It’s About Time!

The Christmas cards will be ready to be distributed within the Parish starting this Sunday. Each bundle is labeled with road names, so please feel free to pick up a set, thank you for helping us share the Christmas spirit!

  We’re a collection centre again! Check the website here for what to include, and either pay the processing donation online or pop it in an envelope inside your box. Please don’t seal the boxes—volunteers will check them at the processing centre.

• Starting 22 January 2026 - St Peter’s Alpha courses - please add your name if you are interested in either the Early Evening or Evening session.

We are still desperate for help with the catering for our Alpha courses due to start in January. There are so many options available and you can help as little or as much as you want for the 8 weeks of Alpha. Can you….?

•  Cook a meal?

• Be responsible for buying the food?

• Heating up a pre-bought meal?

• Clear the tables?

• Wash up at the end?

• Lend a hand cooking?

Rising Generations team needs YOU!

We are in need of a few more helpers on Mondays at Lighthouse Club from 4:45pm-7:30pm. Lighthouse club is great fun, with a different theme each week, and helps us reach over 70 children from school years 3-6. 

We have a great team, but would love some more help. No special skills needed - just a friendly smile and a heart for encouraging children!  Please reach out to Helen Rogers or Helen Smith if you could give some time on a Monday evening (weekly, fortnightly or monthly!) and would like to know more. 

Are you spending Christmas Day on your own, or are you a couple who would enjoy some friendly company? We’d love to welcome you to a joyful and relaxed Christmas lunch, taking place from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Whether you're looking for warm conversation, cheerful faces, or simply a place to enjoy a festive meal, you are warmly invited to join us.

The lunch is completely free, but if you’d like to contribute towards the costs, there will be an opportunity to make a donation—entirely optional.
