We are delighted that on Sunday 20 September we will be celebrating the baptism of three people across our 9.15am and 6.00pm services. Please do come along and join us as we warmly welcome them into the life of the Church. Let us pray for them as they begin this new chapter of faith and celebrate all that God is doing in their lives.

Join us on Sunday 27 September for Giving Sunday as we celebrate God's faithfulness and all He is doing through St Peter's. We'll share how giving supports our church and community, and invite everyone to prayerfully consider how they can support God's work through St Peter's.

For those who like to be organised, save the date for our Light Trail which will be on Saturday 31st October. As ever, we will be asking for donations of wrapped chocolates and sweets to bless our community, so if you pass a good offer on your supermarket trips, we are collecting from now! Please bring them in to the Rising Generations team office.

Lighthouse Club - Mondays | 6.00pm to 7.00pm

Join us for an hour of fun, friendship and faith! Each week we share a short Bible story, followed by games, activities and snacks inspired by the theme.

£1.50 per child, payable on the door. No need to book, just come along!

Please note: Lighthouse Club runs on alternate weeks for Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6. Visit the church website for upcoming themes and to check which week is for your child's age group.

Football Club - Sundays | 11.00am to 12.00 noon
For girls and boys in Years 6 to 9

A welcoming football club for all abilities, with training drills, friendly matches and a short Christian thought to encourage and inspire.

£2 per week. No need to book, just turn up and join in!

Parents are welcome to stay, with tea and coffee provided.

A group of ladies are going to be going to the Orchard ladies conference in October. It is a great day of uplifting worship and teaching. There are 2 events - one in London on Saturday 17th October and one in Birmingham (10th October - currently SOLD OUT) and there are groups going to both. If you would like to go, please book yourself a place and then let Helen Smith know so we can coordinate travelling together. 

MISSION NEWS UPDATE:

The Source is partnered with the Twilight Runway Challenge fundraising event on Saturday 12th September and is also looking for volunteers to help with ‘CraftStart’, their latest project to help young people overcome their mental health problems.

Shamira Japitana in the Philippines is preaching on Ephesians 4, organising Wavemakers’ annual fundraising dinner and visiting India to teach a discipleship course in the next few weeks
