What a Sunday it was. We gathered for Healing Sunday, opened Acts 4 together, and prayed over many who came forward. God is at work, and we keep praying.

This weekend only, our services will not be live‑streamed or recorded as we’ll be joined by an overseas guest sharing their messages.

If you’re new to St Peter’s, Tim (our Vicar) and Claire would love to welcome you to the Rectory for a relaxed time of hospitality and fellowship.

This is a lovely opportunity to get to know Tim and Claire, meet others who are new, and hear a little about how you can get plugged into the life and community of St Peter’s.

Come along to our garden for a laid‑back hour of tea, coffee, and cake—with plenty of space to chat and relax. Children are very welcome, so bring the whole family and enjoy a lovely Sunday together.

The Rising Gen team are going to be starting a Ladies Homegroup on Wednesday afternoons. This will be during the school day, term time only and suitable for you to bring your babies/toddlers along to as we share life with each other and open Gods word. If you are interested in joining the holy chaos, please contact either Helen for more information.

We would love to grow a Helping Hands Ministry, which supports families as they welcome a new baby. This includes providing the occasional home‑cooked meal or a lovingly knitted gift.

We are currently building a small list of volunteers who would be happy to be contacted a few times a year to either prepare a meal or do some knitting for a family during this special season. There is no fixed commitment—just a willingness to offer practical care when needed.

Harriet is coordinating this and would be delighted to hear from anyone who feels able to help in this way. If you’re interested in being added to the list, please let her know. Your kindness could be a real blessing to new families in our Church community, thank you.

On Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May, Waverley Abbey are bringing together Christians from around the nation, across generations and denominations, for the inaugural Waverley Abbey Festival. A day of worship and intercession on a site where prayer has been rising for over a thousand years.

Marjorie Dickens’ Thanksgiving Service is here at Church on Saturday 16 May at 12.30pm. The family would love you to come along for the Service and remember Marjorie and then join them in the Mary & Martha room for refreshments.
