Introducing St Peter's Mission Committee

We are a group of local Christians who are enthusiastic about supporting Christian mission and working to enable people to participate in short-term and longer-term mission.  We work as a sub-committee of the PCC and one of our key functions is to manage the distribution of funds from St Peters Mission Fund.  We are also busy raising awareness of mission, providing opportunities for missionaries to share information and prayer needs with the congregations at St Peters - advising people about short-term mission and doing all we can to ensure that Christian mission is an important part of the ministry of St Peters Church.

To promote and enable commitment to Christ’s mission in this country and overseas amongst the congregation of St Peter’s Church Farnborough

Purpose of the Mission Committee

• Careful distribution of funds.

• Encouraging and supporting people who are involved in mission, especially those from St Peter's by personal, pastoral and prayer support.

• Promoting an active awareness and interest in mission.

St Peter's supports Christian mission and encourages people to become involved in mission through short-term or longer-term mission activity.
