Passover Supper
at St Peter's
On Maundy Thursday many of the St Peter's congregation made Easter more meaningful by attending the "Last Supper" - A traditional Passover celebration where a meal consisting of roast lamb, water cress, unleavened bread, haroseth and bitter herbs was enjoyed. This was followed by Communion. Congratulations to the organisers of this excellent event.

| The "Easter
Cross" was formed out of the trunk of the St Peter's Christmas tree
which provided a poignant link to the birth of Jesus. On Easter Sunday the cross was decorated by the congregation of St Peter's with daffodils. Each daffodil represents a prayer for those in less fortunate circumstances. The decorated cross symbolises victory over death and also beauty in an ugly world. |
