We always enjoy celebrations at Women's Fellowship! Warm mulled apple juice greeted us on a cold day and we concluded with a wonderful selection of finger foods for tea and the traditional Christmas cake made by Lorna Myers.

Our guests, the U3A "Singing for Fun" group,  entertained us and helped us think ahead to Christmas, with their mixture of light songs, a poem, a solo and a selection of carols which we all sang together and we ended with a Bible reading, time of worship and prayer.

Everyone left with gift, a card and a programme of next year's meetings.We look forward to our next meeting, which is our Annual Communion Service on 27 January 2010 and another slice of Christmas cake to follow!
