Vijay Menon - Don't all religions lead to God?
11 July 2009

The subject 'Don't all religions lead to God?' is one core to the Christian faith and one of the most commonly asked questions by attendees on the Alpha Course.

Vijay Menon - Don't all religions lead to God?

Vijay is an energetic and humourous speaker who kept the 60+ attendees tied to his every word.

Vijay, a Hindu, came to Christ after he wandered into a church in Bishopsgate, London and heard a message that changed his life. He has been responsible for helping thousands upon their journey to Christ and was recently awarded the Cross of St Augustine by the Archbishop of Canterbury for his 43 years of outstanding service to the Church of England.

Vijay in his opening statement explained that all religions do lead to God, because no matter what we choose to believe, ultimately we will all be accountable to the one and only true God. Vijay went on to explain that only those that accept Christ as their saviour can have a relationship with God and eternal life.

To some Vijay's opinion that all religions do ultimately lead to God, might seem a contentious view. Given that, despite what other religions might believe, we as Christians acknowledge that there is only one true God, then reason defines that no matter who we are or what we believe, we will all eventually be accountable to that one true God (the message of Revelation).

As expected the presentation sparked many questions and the overall feedback was very positive.
