What
is Christianity Explored?
At St Peter's Christianity Explored runs as an 8 week course during
the autumn with an evening
session. The course examines the life of Jesus by focusing on Mark's
gospel. Each session is usually preceeded by lunch, or supper.
What's involved?
The Christianity Explored course at St Peter's consists of a series
of DVD presentations by Rev Rico Tice followed by group discussion.
It is an informal gathering of those wanting to know more. You need
no knowledge of the Bible, you are not expected to talk or read
aloud if you prefer not to and neither are you preached to, nor
expected to pray. Hopefully you will feel prompted to participate
in discussion, which can often be both searching and stimulating,
provoking many questions. You can ask any question you like, or
if you prefer, just come along, sit and listen.
Who is Christianity Explored for?
The course is for everyone, no matter whether you are Christian,
atheist, searching for something, or of a different religion altogether.
The course is for all that want to extend their knowledge and discover
more about Christianity and Jesus in particular.
What will it cost?
There is no charge for the Christianity Explored course and all
study materials are provided - you need bring nothing but yourself.
